The 5 1/4" and 5 1/2" Stainless Steel mouth come from a different manufacturer and are 3" - 3 1/2" high and 2" -2 1/2" across the D shape. The picture does not accurately reflect the shape of the D for these sizes.
This D-Ring Snaffle gives slight directional assistance, making use of the face of the horse, similar to that of the full cheek snaffle. The D-ring does not pinch the corner of the mouth. Mouth comes in Stainless Steel or Copper.
